You Can Never Be Sad!
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009There are so many things which can make us feel bad, like the poor weather, the lost earring, the sad news, the favourite shirt becomes dirty, unsavory people, etc. However, don’t lets these factors upset you, you should find ways to have a good mood.
1. Look for good things in any bad situation. There are always good things around us although it is difficult to find them. Remember to think positively. For example, the parking ticket is cheap, you are definitely having a better day than the rude waiter is, your pants will still be shabby no matter how you feel.
2. Be thankful to things around - your health, career, friends, family, etc. They don’t come naturally, so don’t take them for granted. Be thankful.
3. Laugh heartily. There is no need to go to laughing classes in order to do this. Try to laugh loudly when something bad happens. This may sound foolish to you. However, this can really help you laugh out because of its ridiculousness.
4. Be optimistic. Expectations often affect the actual outcomes. If you think something will go well, it will probably be. I always expect I would be able to find a space for parking when I shop for grocery at busy hours, and I almost always do.
5. Collect anything that you think is funny. It can be sayings, clips or quotes. Read them through when you need to be refreshed. They can always make you smile.
6. Do a handstand. Yoga poses like a handstand are good for our organs and can help boost our mood too. If you can’t do a handstand, try using a wall as assistance by leaning your butt and legs against the wall.
7. Give yourself a rest. Many people want to get things done as much as they can and they are usually lack of sleep. If you have this wrong practice that can endanger your health severely, you should stop right now and try to enjoy your life with your family and friends.
Life is definitely not easy and we face different challenges every day. Try to be positive and avoid looking back. Whatever happened is happened. Learn from your mistakes and look forward. You will then find your life much happier and healthier.
